9.2 Upgrade Timeline

The June upgrade was the first step to moving to PeopleSoft 9.2 with a scheduled go-live date of March 2018 (during Spring break).

Version 9.2 will be a more significant upgrade including both increased functionality and improved security. 

The early schedule is as follows:

 

As planned, the PeopleSoft Student System and WesPortal will be down from Friday June 9^th at 3:00 PM until Saturday June 10^th at 5:00 PM for a system upgrade.

Between approximately 2:00 and 5 PM on Saturday the 10th, offices have been asked to test their basic functionality using CS90TEST https://cs90test.wesleyan.edu.

UPDATE:  May 18, 2017 

The CS90Test Database is now available for testing today, May 18.

 

May 11, 2107

CS90TEST (SFIS bundle/upgrade database) will NOT be available on Tuesday and Wednesday.  CS90TEST should be back upgraded Thursday morning, May 18.

We will send an email when the CS90TEST database is again available for testing.

PeopleSoft Student Upgrade Weekend Timeline

Upgrade Begins                Friday, June 9, 2017 at 3:00 PM.

Systems Down                  WesPortal, Portfolio, PeopleSoft Student System and GLSP registration will be down.

Systems Available

Docfinity (with lookup functionality only) at  https://docfinity-prod.wesleyan.edu 

Docfinity will be accessible during the CS downtime.  However, some functions will not work properly as they require direct access to the CS database, mainly Indexing and Forms.

 Maxient at https://cm.maxient.com/wesleyan 

 Moodle at https://moodle.wesleyan.edu

 Human Resources at https://hr92prod.wesleyan.edu 

 WFS at https://pf92prod.wesleyan.edu 

 

User Testing                       Saturday Afternoon between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM

Finish                                   Saturday June 10, 2017 at 8:00 PM.

 

Reporting Problems during Testing

Report problems through a Service Now ticket either through WesPortal or https://service.wesleyan.edu

·         Please provide as much detail as possible

·         And begin the Short Description with the words SFIS Upgrade
